Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on iOS in Brazil, Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top food and drink apps in Brazil on the iOS platform showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Below, we examine the performance of iFood: pedir delivery em casa, McDonald's Offers and Delivery, Zé Delivery de Bebidas, Burger King Brasil, and Uber Eats: Food Delivery.

iFood: pedir delivery em casa experienced a stable trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 119K in the last week of December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, reaching a high of around 2.56M in early November before declining to roughly 2.22M by the end of December.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in the week of November 22, with downloads soaring to about 141K. Active users also mirrored this growth, peaking at approximately 453K during the same week. The app maintained an average of 281K active users towards the end of December.

Zé Delivery de Bebidas showed a notable increase in downloads in the latter part of the quarter, reaching around 44K in the week of December 20. Active users followed a similar positive trend, peaking at about 145K in the same week, indicating a healthy engagement rate among users.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 18K to 21K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a notable increase, peaking at roughly 646K in late November, before experiencing a slight decline to about 534K by the end of December.

Lastly, Burger King Brasil maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 30K in mid-December. Active users showed a downward trend, starting from around 131K in late November and ending the quarter with roughly 89K active users.
